It's hard to see puppies that have such a hard start to life. Eliza already had that defeated look in her eyes that we see in so many adult dogs living on the street. She was bald from mange and her skin was pink from infection. Once at Stray Rescue, Eliza was immediately started on antibiotics and given medicated baths to help her skin. She went to foster and started to experience being loved. Eliza quickly became the playful, happy puppy she should have been. It took her skin ahile to heal, but Eliza blossumed into a beautiful girl and was adopted.
Here is what Eliza's adopters had to say.........
Our dog, Luna’s, friend had passed away. She seemed so sad that we wanted to adopt a new companion for her. We fell in love the moment we met Eliza. The deal was sealed when Eliza and Luna met and clicked instantly. They are now best friends and do everything together. Some of their favorite activities are playing ball, running circles in the yard, going on long walks and traveling. Eliza also loves to cuddle and nibble our toes.
We could not imagine our lives without Eliza (now known as Gracie) and are thankful for the day she became a member of our family.
