Amadeo

This gorgeous smile belongs to Amadeo!  Amadeo was rescued from the bitter cold streets in January 2011. He lived at the shelter for a couple of weeks until his foster family saw that charismatic smile and just had to take him home. Amadeo or "Deo" lives with his foster family, 2 small dogs, and various foster puppies that seem to come and go! Deo is a highly trainable guy. He has learned to sit, stay, go in a down, shake, high five, heel, and leave it. Amadeo can fetch but hasn't mastered this trick at this time. He is also crate and potty trained. Amadeo waits until he is given permission to eat and to get up on your lap. He is a big lovable lap dog! Deo needs an experienced forever family. He does well with a good routine and clear boundaries. Amadeo requires daily exercise and would make a great running partner. He currently does 5-7 miles on the treadmill every day and an hour walk every evening. He loves to play in the yard and enjoys hanging out with his foster family on his favorite pillow. Amadeo enjoys camping and hiking with his foster family. One of Deo's best traits is that he gives amazing hugs when given permission!  Amadeo is a loyal companion and ready to find his forever home.
