Named after the St Louis City Police Officer that rescued her, Angela came to Stray Rescue after she was found wandering the streets at night in traffic. Her black color made it difficult for cars to see her. With the officers quick thinking, she grabbed a couple of cans of dog food and some Rice Krispie's treats. Being so hungry, Angela gobbled it all down and was eager to follow the officer to safety. Now off the streets and in a foster home, Angela is a love bug that's making up for lost time. She loves her crate and goes right in without any issues. She is also house broke. She also knows a few commands such as sit, lay and is working on paw. She is easy to train because she is both food and praise motivated. She loves to go to the park and walk. She also walks well on her leash. When she is done at the park she is ready to come home and rest for a while. She needs to be the only dog in the house as she does not get along with other dogs. She has not been around cats, but she loves humans. It does not matter what age people are she loves them all. When she is at home she spends most of her time just lounging around. She is a very calm dog and very loving.
**Please note that Angela is in a foster home and not at our shelter.
**Please check the adoption status before applying to make sure there isn't already an adoption pending.
