My name is Cyndi and I am one of the dogs rescued from a hoarder. I went to my foster home almost right away after coming to Stray Rescue, only staying long enough to be spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. I am currently living in a foster home with 3 doggie sisters and one doggie brother. I really like playing with my foster sisters especially Possum who is also available for adoption from Stray Rescue. I am housebroken and am very good in the house most of the time (sorry about that slipper daddy), and my foster parents do not need to crate me when they are not at home.
I am still extremely shy since I did not get a chance to learn about how to live in a house with people when I was growing up, but I am learning. I come in right away now when my fosters call me in from the back yard, and I am now brave enough to go up to my foster parents to let them pet me. I also love to snuggle in bed with them. I used to hide most of the time at my fosters until my foster dad hurt his foot and had to stay home from work, I felt so sorry for him that I decided that he needed me to be by him and for me to give him lots of kisses so that he would feel better, and I liked it when he would tell me thank you and that I was a "good girl" and scratch my ears.
I still have a bit to work on to learn to be a "normal" dog (I am still unsure about that leash thing), but I am
smart and am very good at learning from the other dogs at my foster home. If you are willing to be patient with me and have a well-adjusted dog in your home who would like a friend, I may be just the girl for you, and you can fill out an app for me and my foster mom will contact you.
**PLEASE NOTE THAT CYNDI IS IN A FOSTER HOME AND NOT AT OUR SHELTER.
**PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE ADOPTION STATUS BEFORE APPLYING TO MAKE SURE THERE ISN'T ALREADY AN ADOPTION PENDING.
