Etta

Etta is another Stray Rescue miracle dog. When we spotted her on the street, at first glance we thought she was pregnant. But, as it turns out she was in heart failure from severe heart worms and her body was filling with fluid. We rushed her to the vet where they immediately started to drain fluid from her to make her more comfortable. Her prognosis was not very good at the time. But we wanted to give her every chance we could. Over 30lbs. of fluid was drained from her. Already she seemed much happier and it was obvious she felt better. Her tail never stoppped wagging. When it came time to start her heart worm treatment we were all just hoping that her heart was not so damaged that she wouldn't survive the treatment. She came through with flying colors and is now a happy girl just waiting for her forever home. She is the sweetest girl you will ever meet. She loves her walks and is very affectionete. You couldn't ask for a better dog to be part of your family.
