Gaia

  Gaia is named for the Greek goddess of the earth, and, true to her name, she loves the outdoors!  At home, she enjoys romping around and exploring the backyard with her foster brother, as well as going on walks and hikes.   

Gaia is the third of four dogs rescued from an abandoned house.  She has learned a lot recently about being loved, feeling safe and secure, and about playing with other dogs and people.  When she first came to her foster home, she was very shy, but is now all smiles and tail wags.  And what a terrific smile she has!

Gaia’s favorite hobbies include: chewing on toys, getting ear-scratches, long naps on the couch, looking out the window, wrestling with her foster brother, and giving kisses to those she loves.  Her dislikes include: cats.  She is housetrained, sits beautifully on command, and is quiet, sweet, and attentive. 

Gaia can’t wait to find her forever home where she can continue to feel loved, safe, and happy.  If you have love and patience for this wonderful dog, she’ll gladly return your affections!
