Ingrid looks very serious in her picture. Life in the shelter is an entirely new experience for Ingrid who is transforming from a feral to a happy dog.
Ingrid is a very sweet, but very shy girl. She has had to learn how to walk on a leash, how to play, and how to trust people. She is making great progress in all these areas. Because she lived in a dog pack, she gets along well with other dogs. In fact, she really needs to be in a home with another dog who can help her feel secure. Ingrid has gained some much needed weight since she came to Stray Rescue, but she only weighs 35 pounds. She is small enough to fit into any size home. Ingrid has discovered the fun of treats, and she is very treat motivated. However she won’t come to the door of her apartment to get a treat. That is something else she is working on.
Ingrid had a rough life before she came to Stray Rescue, but now she is healing and experiencing happiness. She needs a family who will gently help her to become the dog she was meant to be. And be sure you have enough treats in the house.
PLEASE NOTE THAT INGRID IS AT OUR PINE STREET SHELTER.
