Mary Poppins

Stray Rescue's Mary Poppins may not fly down to meet you, clutching the handle of her umbrella, but she is every bit as sweet and loving as the movie version.  She will look at whoever is speaking to her with intense attention as if she understands every word being said.  We're sure she does.

Mary Poppins prefers car rides to umbrella flights.  In fact, she adores car rides.  She is very calm and enjoys watching everything going on outside.   Mary Poppins has been on a hiking adventure where she fell in love with nature.  She enjoyed the smells and the sounds of the leaves.  In fact, she was much more interested in her surroundings than she was in the other dogs.  In the shelter, Mary Poppins has the totally charming habit of flattening her body against her apartment door when anyone walks by, trying to get them to stop and pet her.  This little trick works almost every time.

Mary Poppins is a very sweet and sometimes silly girl.  She would love to be your very own Nanny-dog so the two of you can go for walks or hikes or just snuggle on the couch.  This is not an opportunity you should pass up.
