Hi, I'm Max. I was adopted from Stray Rescue when I was just a small puppy. Due to some changes in my home life, my dad had to return me. I'm currently in a foster home where I'm doing well, but still a bit confused. I'm house and crate trained, know "sit", "down', "stay"and "it's a friend' (I'll explain that one in a minute). I walk fantastic on a leash right by your left side. And I'm really good about being your right hand man, I mean dog. My foster mom and all my friends at Stray Rescue know I am a wonderful, obedient and well mannered dog to my friends. It's just strangers I'm a bit leery of. I get a little anxious when someone I don't know comes to my house. My foster mom is teaching me that no one is going to hurt me. And I like when new people hand me treats. I would do best in a home with someone who will continue to work with me and who knows all about shepherds and their behaviors.
