Pancake

Pancake has one of the greatest pair of ears in the shelter - they always stick straight up.  Mostly she is listening for someone to come visit her.  Pancake just adores people and wants to do everything she can with them, from going on walks to chilling on the couch.

Pancake is a happy and energetic girl.  She loves to play in the yard and will chase anything that someone will throw.  She is always ready for a game.  Pancake doesn't hide her emotions;  her waggy tail, wriggly body and big smile show everyone how happy she is.  Recently Pancake got to go on a five mile hike with her shelter friends.  She had a ball.  Pancake is a good car rider and rode to the hiking site looking out the window.  She also likes to sneak in some kisses for the driver.  Pancake entertained herself during the rest breaks by throwing a stick into the air and catching it.  Pancake also has a quiet side.  She is a sweet dog who loves to be petted.  She also responds well to training.  Pancake wants all of your attention to herself and would do best as the only dog in the home.

Pancake is a staff and volunteer favorite, but everyone wants to see her go into her very own home.  She promises her new family lots of enthusiasm, many tail wags, tons of kisses and an all around good time.  You know you can't turn down an offer like that.
