Shirley

When Shirley first came to Stray Rescue, she gave everyone her "serious" look.  Her life on the streets had been tough as she tried to find food, water and shelter from the summer heat.  But now that she is  well taken care of, she is a happy dog who smiles all the time - just not for the camera.

At the age of two, Shirley is more mature than the younger dogs, but don't tell that to Shirley.  She still has lots of puppy fun and excitement in her.  Now that she doesn't have to worry about survival, Shirley can do all those doggy things she missed as she was growing up.  She loves to walk, and she loves her walkers.  The yard is her favorite place where she is learning the elements of frisbee playing.  Best of all, Shirley is good around dogs of all ages and demeanors.  Her apartment mate may get crabby, but that never bothers Shirley.

Shirley is a wonderful girl, full of love and happiness.  All she lacks is a forever home where she can play and love.  Do you have such a home for her?
