Veruca

Hello! I'm Vecura-- If it's not my beautiful brown ears that draw you in, I promise with one look into my lovely brown eyes (foster mom says I'm special because they are rimmed with cool white eyelashes), you'll fall right in love with me!! I am a two year old terrier mix, and I've been living at Stray Rescue for awhile now. The other day, a really nice lady came and said I could live at her house until someone realizes what they've been missing out on--me! I'm pretty skeptical of other dogs, they make me nervous, so it was hard for me to keep weight on at the shelter, but my foster mom is working on fattening me up, and I love to eat (but only my food and treats. Foster mom says her food is off limits!). I know I'm not supposed to chew on anything except my bones and toys. I just love to snuggle up next to my foster mom and hang out all day, but I know when she says its time for her to go to work, it's time for me to go in my crate with my peanut butter filled Kong and occupy myself while she's away. I've never had an accident in my new home, so it's clear that my (cheap) nightly medicine for preventing that is working! I'm also super good on my walks--I love to frolic in the grass, and when we get back inside, I like to look out the window and watch the kids get off the bus. Everyone-grown ups and kids- who meets me can't get enough of me, and that's a good thing because I LOVE to give out kisses. I love a good car ride, too.
