Feral, Pregnant and Scared: Meet Kylie

                 

Kylie is one of 3 feral dogs we have been trying to rescue off of the St. Louis University campus for months.  To some they are as common of a site as a student carrying books.  To us, the busy city streets and lack of food sources had us worried.

With temps around 100 degrees the call came….she was in the trap.  The trap was very far away from the SUV so this meant carrying a very pregnant, scared dog in scorching heat to the car. Kylie, named after our new volunteer Kyle, didn’t waste any time once she got settled into the shelter. She gave birth in the morning to 12 pups, 12 pups that won’t live on the streets and reproduce.  So welcome Kylie and your family to Stray Rescue, we love you and your dozen kids.
