Meet a dog that we all have fallen in love with! Wasabi!

Wasabi was returned after 9 years, yes 9 years. Why it is important for people who have a dog/cat should search out help before doing the ol’ dump! All shelters are full, the trip to your local shelter should be your last resort….these amazing animals are not old mattresses that you dump in the alley….they are man’s best friend so treat them as such!

Wasabi lives in our storage area because of space. He loves it there. My hunch is because he got older with arthritis he was no longer wanted. But the good news is we know and love him like the back of our hands. He has many guardians now- we all pitch in and care for him, from car rides to get a slushy (Cherry flavor is his favorite) to nice long walks- but rabbits beware! He would have to be the only dog for he likes to chase anything non-human. But he lives for us humans, he lives to makes us smile. He is so laid back and kind. Think about it- he lives amongst pallets of food and treats and never once “shoplifted”. He never has peed or pooped inside, loves toys. He is available also for our seniors program. Now I need you all to spread the word about a dog- dumped at 9 years, loving and kind and will bring someone years of smiles.
