Trial Adoption Period (TAP)

We have many dogs participating in our new Trial Adoption Program (TAP). With this program you can foster a pet over the weekend. We supply the pet, food, bowls, leashes, everything!

Have you ever considered fostering a pet, but you weren't quite sure about making a long-term commitment? Have you ever wanted to take home a prospective adoptive pet to see how he fits in with your family? Well now you can! With TAP, you can take a pet home with you for the weekend. This is a perfect way to try out fostering or adopting a pet (too bad you can't do this with relatives!)

You get to see what fostering is like, while at the same time, helping these wonderful dogs to see what it's like to live with a family and have fun. We supply the food, leashes, bowls, toys, everything; all you supply is the love! There is no charge to take home a pet under the Trial Adoption Period. Pick up is on Friday nights between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Drop off is on Sunday between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. or Monday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Other times and days can be arranged.

Many of our dogs are available for TAP. A snapshot of some of the available dogs is located on the home page, with the details available on the 'Adoptees' pages. We will also be adding a special page with details on all of these pets in the next few days.
