Science Center Stray Rescued, Meet Pavlov

Hanging out for weeks at the Science Center made this special dog one of their main attractions.

Many calls came in that a border-collie mix stray that had been running around the back of the Science Center and SLUH (high school) parking lot for weeks and eluded capture by anyone who tried. The employees had been trying to catch but this spooked stray was able to steer clear of them (but stayed close enough to catch the food they tossed to him).

Darrell set up a humane trap and within a few hours, we had Pavlov safely off the streets.  After being checked out at the vet, we were happy to learn that Pavlov was heartworm negative and pretty healthy.  He now is neutered and in a loving foster home, with one of the Science Center employees. He likes other dogs and loves attention showing no more fear of being alone in such a busy, dangerous area with traffic.  Pavlov is ready for his forever home. If you think Pavlov is the right dog for you, fill out an adoption form…I have hunch whoever adopts this lucky dog will be truly in love with his charm.
