The Panda Program- Meet The dogs

Stray Rescue's Panda Program is a Hospice program for dogs. By filling out this application to foster, you agree to take a dog into your home who has a limited amount of time left to live. The dogs in this program have been diagnosed with a terminal illness or may be very old or both. They are deserving of a home where they can live out their remaining life with love and dignity and not have to die alone. Quality of life is the most important part for us all, and together we can give these dogs a happy, safe and loving end of life. Fill out the foster form to participate in this unique program.

Meet Gramps. He is an older boy, about 11 years old.  He has chronic kidney disease and arthritis. But despite that he is always happy to see people, and still loves to toss around his toys. He would love to spend his remaining time in a home with a loving family.

This little girl is Opal. She is almost 13 now and would love it if that special someone would take her into their home.

This Is Uncle Sammie. Although he isn't very old, around 6 years, he has had a tough life. And recently was diagnosed with Lymphoma. He is currently undergoing chemo treatments every week. But he still enjoys his nightly walks and is happy to be spending his time in a loving home.

Andrea has a condition called Babesiosis. It is a parasite of the blood. It is currently in remission, but if it becomes active again it will cause severe anemia and she could die. She requires monthly blood tests to keep an eye on her blood levels. She is a very loving girl, wouldn't you like to take her home?

And Panda, the inspiration of this new program. She may be deaf, severe heartworms and neurological problems...her love of life, strolls in the yard and being held makes her a special gift and new additon to Randy's household.
