| Ducky came to Stray Rescue as part of the Pound Assistance Program because he had a respiratory infection but he is healthy now. The hound dog comes out in him when his foster's come home. He has that deep bark that makes him a great watch dog. He sounds big but all he would do is lick someone to death. He plays like a Terrier and wants to Box with dogs his own size. But his playmate right now is a 10 lb puppy so he lays down and lets the little one pin him down. Ducky would be great for a family with another dog because he is submissive and he would adjust well as long as the dog can keep up with his energy level. If his Forever Home does not have a dog he likes to play with kitties too. Otherwise he would like to go to the Dog Park or have play dates. Ducky bounces like Tigger and prances like a horse so he can also leap over a standard chainlink fence. He will need to be walked/run or have a privacy or electric fence. He is already house broken and crate trained. Ducky has been neutered, micro chipped and vaccinated so he is ready for adoption. If you would like to meet him at an event or have him visit your home just fill out an application and his foster will call. Then you can take him for Rent-a-Pet. | |||
