	Lucky Lindy was spotted on the side of the road by some very nice people. The whole neighborhood tried desperately to rescue her but she was so scared. She would just run from them. They called Stray Rescue asking for help. We set up one of our humane traps and less than 24 hours later we had our girl. She was taken to the vet to be checked out. She was thin and dehydrated but otherwise pretty healthy. After just a few days she started trusting us more and really came out of her shell. She has turned out to be a very sweet girl. She's a little older and on the mellow side. She loves to go for walks and does very well on a leash. She is housebroken and gets along fine with other dogs. She may look big in her pictures but she is small and would be perfect for someone looking for a loving lap dog. Lucky Lindy is available for our Seniors for Seniors program. The adoption fee will be waived for anyone aged 60 and older. Better hurry and get your application in soon. This sweetie will be scooped up in no time.
