	Triumph is a super friendly guy, whose harsh past hasn't affected him too badly. Triumph was found tied up in a back yard of an abandoned house and other dogs had been attacking him. He spent a week at the vet getting his wounds taken care of and is now finishing his recovery at his foster home. He is a bit thin, so he is working to bulk up a bit, probably weighing around 65 pounds when he is at a healthy weight. Triumph gets along with other dogs (surprising, considering what happened to him) and has been scared of the cats in his foster home, although he does bark at them. He was not housetrained when he arrived at his foster home and it was clear he had not been in a house before. But he's so smart that within a few days, he had figured out that outside was for pottying and how to go up and down the stairs, which scared him so much at first. He's also learned sit very quickly and is anxious to keep training even more commands. Triumph likes to hang out with people and dogs. He will be your shadow and follow you around the house. He has a lot of energy, so a home with another dog might be best for him, but he is also often content to sit next to you while you work or go outside and play with his foster parents. He likes to chew on toys and so far has not been destructive. He is curious and will steal things he's not supposed to have, but he easily gives up those inappropriate chew toys, like flip flops. Because he has not been in a house before, he doesn't think he is allowed on the couch or beds, but loves to curl up on dog beds. He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night and when his foster family is gone. He rides well in the car and is learning to walk on a leash. He has been neutered, micro chipped and vaccinated so he ready for his Forever Home. If you would like to meet him at an event or have Triumph visit your home just fill out an application and his foster will call. Then take him for Rent-a-pet.
